with life aboard ship and showing evidences of congeniality.

Great Guns

GREAT GUNS ON THE U. S. SUPERDREADNOUGHT ARKANSAS

The huge glistening black 12-inch guns are formidable features
of the fighting face of the great battleship.

Checkers

CHECKERS

A favorite recreation of the bluejackets is a game of checkers. Apparently the game arouses
more excitement than is generally associated with it.

Boxing

A BOXING MATCH

A couple of Uncle Sam's youngsters boxing aboard ship. Each combatant has his group of supporters,
each side confident that its protoge can outclass the other.
